Lil Shadow, a Cambodian-American actor, rapper, and producer, was born on October 10, 1987, in Long Beach, California. He grew up in a Cambodian household where his parents, immigrants from Cambodia, struggled to learn English. Despite being exposed to gang life as a teenager, Lil Shadow found solace in music and eventually produced two albums, "The World is Ours" (2012) and "Loyal 2 the Game" (2016), which inspired many bilingual students who were criticized for being minorities
