I was born and raised in the 1950s, played in bands from the 1960s to the '80s, recorded my own DIY music at home over the years some of which is posted here.
I published a book last year called "Happiness is a Cool Reactor" that covers some of the highlights of my life in the nuclear industry, but also mentions key aspects of my musical experiences.

Lyrics
Harrisburg Hawgs Written by George J. Reed First Verse; Writing the plans to keep emergencies in hand Listing the steps to lead them out of their duress Helping them find the way to manage their mind Hoping some day that I will hear them say . . . Refrain; Here they come . . . they’re the ones Here they come . . . they’re the ones, alright yeah They’re the hawgs out of Harrisburg (repeat 4 times) Setting the standard of excellence Faking the shit out of what they want Making it do with a soft shoe dance Staying in business by the seat of their pants They’re the hawgs out of Harrisburg (repeat 4 times) Second Verse; Brad’s the original hawg and that is true Though others have joined the ranks of hawglets in the crew But Kelly is leaving, he can’t take another day But wishes that really he had heard them say . . . Refrain; (repeat from above)
