Nadia Holt is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. She writes and produces her own synth/electropop-type tracks.
Nadia Holt is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. She grew up in a very musically influenced family and began writing songs at the young age of 9. At the age of 12, she began producing her own songs, and, soon enough, her debut album, “Dream” was born. A few months after the release of dream in October of 2017, her sophomore album, “The Strange” was released, taking on a different style of music with trap and electropop as opposed to the dream pop and orchestral sound of “Dream”. A third and final album, “Sensitivities” has been released, including the 3 promo singles, “Closer”, “Angel Wings”, and “LOSS”.

Lyrics
Verse 1 You're not like this You never liked telling me what to do The reality is, there are others who'd do without all of the drama and the attention And all the lights with their names signed on the stars They sit in corners of comprehension They see the people for who they are Pre-Chorus I try desperately hard to leave these things behind, behind But they try desperately hard to enter through the back doors of my mind Verse 2 This jealous girl is smarter and knows much better than this But she can't seem to fit in the mold and mood they want her to be in There's no calling me out Just pretending I'm part of the crowd This resistance devout I'll show you how Pre-Chorus I try desperately hard to leave these things behind, behind But they try desperately hard to enter through the back doors of my mind Chorus I try desperately hard to leave these things behind, behind But they try desperately hard to enter through the back doors of my mind
