Story behind the song
The Mambo is a totally sexy groove! I've been wanting to try something based on it for a while and although I wrote the structure for this a few years back for a band I was gigging with, it didn't really come off live as the band was more Prog' than Jazz (doh!). So I have completely re-written it as an instrumental. I think it works ok! "Peruvian Snow" previously reached #1 in the Latin Jazz chart.
