Stunned admiration, our shaman has spoken,
reading the bones of the fallen on the cold marble floor
proclaiming the outcome to which we were prone, 
the bag with the silver pieces handed to us once more.

Doodling instructions, dot-to-dot madness,
and colorful ribbons display oh how little we care,
amazing how a dollar buys clearance of conscience, forgiveness
and we'll always have fake concernment to spare.

And if you're sincere, would you tell me,
because the man in the spotlight sure seems uncertain somehow,
leave the misguided to corrupt all what's left innocent,
thus starts the virtue of the wicked.

Crystal ball's foggy, but we've drawn our conclusions
