THE BEST UNSIGNED BAND FROM THE INLAND EMPIRE! For fans of real Hard Rock Music.
COME CHECK OUT THE NEW P2 SITE @ WWW.PRESSUREPOINTTHEBAND.COM PRESSURE POiNt is a 5 piece Hard Rock Band based out of Hemet California which is located in Riverside County. With influences ranging from Steve Vai to TOOL they have taken the styles of many artists and molded it to their own sound. With an energetic stage performance and infectious songs that get stuck in your head PRESSURE POiNT is destined to be one of the next big things from SoCal. Originally the band was made up of Chance on Vocals, Brad Dodson on Guitar, Ang Arguin on Bass, and Andy Estrada on Drums, but recently added the rhythm guitar talents of Kenny Center to round out the sound. PRESSURE POiNT was formed in May of 2003 and while most bands that have only been playing together for a year are wet behind the ears the members of PRESSURE POiNT are seasoned veterans of the music scene. After only 5 months of writing and rehearsing they hit the stage, and they hit it hard. PRESSURE POiNT began gigging in October of 2003 where they headlined The Hard Rock Stage @ The Southern California Fair and they haven’t stopped since, sometimes playing multiple shows in a week. In the short time that they have been playing they have secured a loyal fan base in their city, their current single “Indiscretions” is at #6 on Soundclick.com’s Alternative (General Alt.) Charts, Rateourband.com listeners have ranked their first single “Bury Me Now” 4.5 out of 5 stars, and they are currently being sponsored by POZER CLOTHING. And they are just getting warmed up. At 26 years old vocalist Chance Proppe has been writing and performing original music for over half of his life. The first time Chance took the stage to perform at a musical venue he was 9, singing back-up for his father’s band, L.V. Lizard. He has since written music and competed in countless amounts of showcases across the country. Brad Dodson is usually smiled on and quickly dismissed by those who have never heard him play as he takes the stage, most 19 year old guitar players are, but he quickly turns their dismissal into accolades as he shreds riff after riff. When you hear Brad play it’s a signature sound that only PRESSURE POiNT has. He may look young on the outside but there is the heart and soul of a matured and accomplished guitarist underneath it all, solo after solo he continues to amaze even the most hard-core of PRESSURE POiNT fans. Chance and Brad flow like a well oiled machine when it comes to making music. Whether it’s a harmony, melody, lyric or chord they just seem to know what the other one is going to do next. Kenny Center has been playing guitar since he was 15 and adds an amount of depth to the band that they had been missing before, and with the addition of him vocally it makes for some 3 part harmonies that you don’t hear in the Hard Rock of today. Few bands have women members and even fewer make the females carry their own stacks. PRESSURE POiNT does both. Angela Arguin is the “chick” of the band and it’s youngest member at only 18, but is treated just like one of the guys. She just woke up one morning and felt compelled to play bass for a band. Having Ang in the band is like having a hard nosed critic and Bass Player at the same time. No one is more blunt and to the point if something just doesn’t sound right. Andy Estrada brings a hint of old school metal to the group. At 25 and the youngest in his family, Andy quickly grew to appreciate the Heavy Metal Music his siblings listened to in the 80’s. While most drummers have opted to let the double kick drum become a monotonous sound in a song Andy keeps it retro with only a single kick preferring to blend and accompany rather than battle for a spotlight.

Story behind the song
I just thought it would be cool to give the perspective of the deseased looking out into the world that continues on without them and the pain and tortue that insues while they see their loved ones suffering at the hands of their loss
Lyrics
The fog in my head begins to clear And I'm left wondering just how I got here Cause there's no doors for my grasp And no windows to unlatch Just an eternal bed for me to lay my head down Gazing up from my box I see you I guess I'm not dreaming And my worst fears are coming true I see a tear fall from your eye You drop to your knees and you cry I wish I could reach up to you And tell you to let me go BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW The years have passed and still you come to me Every passing moment it just gets harder to see The seasons will always change But your pain remains the same If there was a way then I would erase your memory I guess thats the price I pay for being me I guess thats the sentance For not giving into conformity If I had one last request to play If I had one more thing to say I would look you in the eyes and tell you to LET ME REST IN PEACE BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW So this is where my story ends I guess this is where my afterlife begins I will not make amends With snakes who call themselves friends I'd rather spend eternity in silence BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW (if you wanna come down)BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW BURY ME NOW
