This is a bluesy song that speaks about the commercialism of but hints at the real reason for Christmas. All in less than 3 minutes. I'm doing the instruments and vocals.

Story behind the song
I wrote this while having my morning coffee. I was staring out the window watching the holiday activities unfold in my neighborhood.
Lyrics
It Must Be X-mas Thyme 1. The white twinkling lights have replaced the leaves The poinsettias blooms are making me sneeze The mail box is full of ad catalogs "Jingle Bells" has gone to the dogs The neighbors, on top of their ladders Hanging X-mas lights, as the sparrows scatter The department stores, are all just one long line (chorus) You know.... It must be X-mas thyme 2. The Nativity scene mysteriously appears Like the valley fog, it's here every year You toss a little something in the bell ringer's bucket And donate your car instead of just junk it You go to Church, on X-mas Eve And like all the rest, you've got to believe This year, all will be fine (chorus) You know.... It must be X-mas thyme (solo break) It must be X-mas thyme, it must be X-mas thyme You know, I think, it must.... must be X-mas thyme Farrell Jackson © 2015

What a gift! Sweet acoustic guitar work at the intro with a nice dissonance bridge into some sweet swinging vocals and rocking holiday delight. Beautiful vocal work and Santa slayin' guitar work. Awesome Farrell.
